Fred Greve is an architect registered in the EU and a designer from the Netherlands. In a career spanning more than 18 years, Fred has worked on various design assignments in Europe, America and Asia. He has a keen eye for detail and is inspired by the simplicity of some of the world’s finest structures. He pursues his ideas with rigour and undaunted conviction to deliver unique designs and powerful experiences. In his formative years, Fred studied product design at the Academy of Fine Arts in the Netherlands where he gets his instinctive feel for materials and detail. After several years of product design, he got his Masters degree in Architecture from the Academy of Building Arts in the Netherlands. He worked with renowned architectural firms; Engelman Architecten, in the Netherlands and Crepain Binst in Belgium. 

In an effort to broaden his horizon, Fred came to Singapore in 2010 and worked for a year with Urbnarc, before joining Space Matrix as a Team Lead. He designed a variety of projects in India, Africa and Singapore. 

Fred teamed up with his Space Matrix ex-manager, as an Associate; to start WAVE in a bid to pursue his goal for are search based design approach.

In 2018 the time came for him to start his own practice with his long time friend and PERCEPT|on was born. He works closely with his colleagues to instil a sense of simplicity, an eye for detail and a sensitivity to materials in all things design.
